Implementation of the zero rate tax on raw material policy

The Association effort has impacted the implementation of Zero Rate Tax on Raw Material policy.

This policy is going to contribute into the following benefits:

1- Attract  foreign  direct  investments  (FDI) in  to  our  country, we  will  see  a  growing number  of manufacturing  companies  hence  increased  domestic  tax  collection.

2- Job ereation,it’s elear that majority of the youths in our country are uncmployed and they have academie credentials.
Increasing the number of manufacturing companies will automatically create job opportunity for these youths.

3- For purposes of compliance with the implementation,we have shared a list of all the cligible members and their c-fax TIN numbers to be incorporated in the system.This

database will periodically change due to new manufacturers or manufacturers that have closed down their operations.
